Position Purpose:
The primary function of Veolia’s Talent Integration function is to integrate new hires into Veolia, increasing retention and enhancing the candidate/manager experience to create a successful and smooth onboarding experience. Our Talent Integration team accomplishes this by providing administrative support to candidates and managers.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities as part of the Centralized Preboarding team include, but are not limited to:
Welcoming candidates to Veolia, communicating next steps for the pre-boarding process.
Address any HR Cloud technical issues that may arise for candidates, Manager and HRBPs (anyone utilizing the system).
Coordinating and tracking preboarding screening requirements (background checks, drug screens, physicals).
Monitor and review background checks, escalating alerts to the HRBP/HRD.
Following up and coordinating with pre-employment vendors to ensure candidates attend appointments, submit paperwork and communicate effectively any remaining items to issue a clearance in a timely manner.
Liaison between the Health & Safety team/HRBP and candidate, addressing and resolving any vendor or candidate related issues.
Initiate rescind letters and terminate potential candidates in HR Cloud when applicable.
Confirm the manager completes the New Hire Form to place orders on equipment and IT applications.
Oversight of VNA I-9 management, auditing and tracking down documents. Ensuring the completion of the I9 section 1 and 2, verify identification documents, and E-verify the employee in the E-verify system.
Compile the pre-boarding related paperwork to send to managers for employees who require a Driver’s Qualification File.
Acting as a resource for managers and new employees to navigate their first 90 days.
Maintaining current knowledge of any applicable HIPAA privacy laws, Labor laws, and Employment regulations. Ensuring these laws and regulations are enforced.
Participate in continuous improvement of processes to promote efficiency and enhance the candidate experience.
Generate transfer and promotion letters, submitting the transaction to HR Operations.
Assisting with HR projects to improve processes and procedures during transitional periods.
Immigration Tracking.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferred.
3 years progressive professional work experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Willingness to collaborate with Veolia stakeholders outside of HR, with the ability to influence positive outcomes in joint-department projects.
Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
Internet Savvy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with capability of multitasking several assignments at one time.
