　　Graduation from high school or GED certificate required. Associate degree preferred.One year of experience as a police officer or similar work required.APOST Certification required.Current Alabama drivers license required.[REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

　　Knowledge of city, state, and federal laws.

　　Ability to deal effectively with the public in emergency situations.

　　Must be available to work all shifts including day, evening, night and weekends.

　　Certified in first aid/CPR.
