Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Work on various mobility-related projects as well as manage U.S. domestic and international assignments, relocations, and short-term assignments for specific segments within the firm. Advise on cross border schooling, home sale and purchase logistics and trailing income tax considerations. Advise on global regulatory issues, entity and contractual structures, payroll and tax structures (e.g., dual contracts). Counsel and coordinate senior relocating employees and advise managers and Human Resources (HR) colleagues on complex mobility issues. Work on relocation policy, process review and vendor reviews. Support firm's initiatives by providing commercial solutions to mobilize firm's talent in a consistent manner. Partner with the business to determine appropriate mobility package and navigate complex mobility challenges including immigration, tax, and relocation issues. Oversee the day-to-day case management of relocations and expatriate assignments, including counseling transferring and repatriating employees on all aspects of their expatriate benefits, handling ad hoc queries, generating and reviewing assignment documentation, and reviewing allowances for payroll. Generate and review periodic and ad hoc reporting.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Management, Human Resource Management, Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Five (5) of experience in the job offered or in a related Human Resources Manager role. Prior experience must include five (5) years with the following: supporting mobility function in a global organization, including international and expatriate tax, and global immigration; employee relocation and assignment management, including vendor management and flows, such as milestones, checklist, and vendor flows; cost models and mobility budget; internal headcount transfer flow and relevant technology, such as Oracle; assignment and relocation data management systems, such as cost estimate flow and creation, initiation flow, and tax engine; relocation and move management technology platforms via Relocation Management Company (RMC); Oracle (PeopleSoft) or similar HR focused database; and Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables and creating linked charts and visuals.
