Job Description

　　VCA Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants to join our team.

　　The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

　　In addition to standard Veterinary Nursing Technical skills, we value:

　　Excellent Client & Patient Handling while working in a fast paced environment

　　Knowledge and competence of Nursing care, husbandry, and clinical practice for Canine, Feline, Avian, Exotic Companion Mammal, and Reptile patients

　　Anesthesia induction, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery of various species

　　Versatility to communicate professionally and the flexibility to support various hospital departments (Primary Care, Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, ICU, Exotics), embracing the cohesiveness of the whole hospital team concept

　　You’ve worked hard on your training and for your credentialing, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. We are committed to supporting your professional growth, whatever that looks like to you!

　　Compensation varies based on education, experience, and current AZ CVT license: $15 - 24/hour (includes scale for licensed and unlicensed Veterinary Technicians)

　　Schedule varies based on department & hospital needs. Currently hiring for day and night shifts.
