Veterinary Receptionist
Salary: £10.60 per hour
Location: Dewsbury – But roving so would be expected to cover other branches for holidays and sickness
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week, 1 in 4 weekends and with a shift pattern of one week of 7.30am – 4.30pm and one week of 11am – 8pm.
We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team here at Calder Veterinary Practice!
The role would suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can work well as part of a team.
Your role and responsibilities
Duties will include but not limited to:
Welcoming and registering new customers.
Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care
Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
Taking payments
Promoting offers and services
Required Experience:
Previous veterinary experience is desirable but not essential.
A driving licence is required to be a successful applicant as you are required to support across our branches when necessary.
