As a member of the VCA At the Oaks Animal Hospital, you will support other vet assistants and doctors by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission is to provide an excellent client experience and deliver exceptional patient care. You’ve worked hard to grow and learn and we want you to use the skills that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

　　Physical examinations and patient assessment

　　Anesthesia monitoring

　　Surgical preparation and assisting

　　Laboratory work

　　Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, IV fluid therapy

　　Catheter placement

　　Pharmacy

　　Patient recovery

　　All aspects of patient care

　　Animal handling and restraint

　　IM, IV,SQ injections

　　Dental cleanings/dental radiography

　　Digital radiography

　　Nursing care/hospitalization treatments

　　Client communication

　　This is a part-time position. Shifts are daytime hours; our hospital is open Sundays-Thursdays. The pay range for this position is $16-$19/hr.
