QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Must be CPR/AED Certified.Provides treatment, documents injuries and maintains medical records.Provides on-going communication with parents regarding injuries, medications, immunizations, allergies, etc.).Follows NYS Guidelines for visions, hearing, scoliosis screenings, and physicals and BMI surveys.Gathers data and reports findings on NYS immunization.May attend field trips with medically required.Provides basic health care and first aid to students that are ill, medically fragile and/or injured.Administers daily medications.Maintain up to date student records on all students (i.e., physicals and immunizations).Responds to all medical emergencies within the building.Participates in 504 meetings.Prior pediatric and/or school experience preferred.Follows NYS guidelines for immunization compliance.Must have basic computer skills to document records and maintain communication logs.EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:All costs associated with these employment requirements are the responsibility of the employee:* Fingerprint clearance from the NY State Department of Education (NYSED).* Drug Screening.* Physical Examination.
