About our group: This position is within the Seagate Shakopee System-on-Chip (SoC) Verification team supporting leading edge custom ASIC storage controller development. In addition to general verification efforts, the SoC Verification team takes a leadership role in defining and driving Seagate's VLSI verification methodology. About the role - you will: Contribute to development of UVM based testbench to enable verification of complex SoCs Plan, create, and execute tasks supporting SoC design verification. Have key responsibilities as part of larger ASIC development efforts including process improvements. About you: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking skills creating and executing innovative solutions to solve complex problems. Self-motivated explorer who is detail oriented. Classroom or practical experience with Verilog/VHDL or SystemVerilog. Familiarity with OOP languages (eg., C++, Java, etc). Your experience includes: Classroom or practical experience running hardware design language simulators. Introduction to verification methodologies OVM, VMM, or UVM. Understanding of embedded microprocessor based systems and associated peripherals. Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (eg., TCL, Perl, Python, etc). BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, graduating in spring 2024. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
