  KBR uses both bespoke and commercial off the shelf (COTS) systems – experience in the administration and configuration of some of the below COTS application would be advantageous:

  Deltek Costpoint (ERP/Supply Chain Module)

  MS Dynamics (ERP/Supply Chain Module)

  SAP (ERP/Supply Chain Module)

  KBRSupplier (KBR’s in-house supplier management/tendering/contracts management tool)

  SPE (KBR’s in-house supplier performance evaluation tool)

  SharePoint

  The opportunity

  The Corporate Procurement team is looking for a skilled and professional Vendor Relationship and Compliance Specialist with proven ability and experience in aligning data, interrogating it and providing data-driven responses to support the Director of Corporate Procurement / Corporate team achieve department wide improvements and support senior leadership insight.

  This position will be responsible for end-to-end vendor management in support of KBR’s Corporate, global organization, serving as the primary resource responsible for a combination of IT vendor contract, service delivery / performance, relationship, risk management including the facilitation of the vendor quarterly business reviews. The role requires an understanding of contractual, commercial, and operational working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of committed products, services and solutions.

  The role will require development, maintenance of compliance requirements (process and procedures), as well as enforcement/management of policy and process associated with vendor management functions, including collaboration with IT leadership, business resources, and stakeholders who may be responsible for adherence to or execution of vendor, service policy and process.

  Working closely with all functions and Business Units, and the Corporate Systems Analyst, the role holder will establish tools and reports that provide oversight, interpretation, and analysis of data and compliance, across all aspects of the procurement process. Guided by the Senior leadership team in Corporate Procurement, your ability to interpret large data sets, provide strategic assessment and analysis of the information, will enable performance review and interrogation of all Corporate Procurement functional data, with resulting performance reports used by the corporate leadership team for Executive reporting, as well as external reports and disclosures.

  You’ll be responsible establishing a system-based approach to compliance that builds transparency and consistency across the global procurement operations and processes. Adopting an investigative approach while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships will result in systems, infrastructure as well as people, process, planet and procurement improvement.

  Who are you?

  We are looking for an individual who is solution oriented and an innovative thinker, who can take the initiative and work independently as well as part of a team, with the ability to dive into the detail and build positive stakeholder relationships (no matter the circumstances). Responsible for both planning and executing vendor relationship management and compliance activities, you’ll be an excellent data analyst and systems-based thinker, who is a natural project manager who is willing and able to roll their sleeves up and get the job done, whilst keeping inclusivity, dignity and respect at the heart of what they do.

  This role will be responsible for the direct execution of the following duties:

  General

  Provide leadership and set the strategic direction for vendor relationship management and compliance (VRM&C),

  Develop Vendor Management processes and procedures; building consistency across the global process associated with the business categories,

  Align VRM&C action with the strategic and operational objectives of Corporate Procurement, and integration where necessary with other Business Units/ Segments

  Create / modify vendor management training and performance evaluation materials regarding operational, procedural and individual vendor engagement for all associated VRM&C activities.

  Collaborate with internal stakeholders — including IT and business resources, procurement — to develop criteria and best practices for vendor selection.

  Assist Corporate Procurement execution teams and other team members responsible for contract negotiation to optimize the cost-effectiveness of negotiations and ensure compliance of negotiated agreements to established vendor management policies and practices (such as articulation of service levels and deliverables, etc.).

  Manage the collection, consolidation and communication of reporting and data on vendor contracts, performance, risk, renewal timelines and relationships to key stakeholders and vendors, summarising opportunities for rationalisation and improvement.

  Contract & Relationship management:

  Oversee maintenance of vendor Service Level agreements (SLAs), and in cooperation with internal stakeholders, ensure agreements are current/up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

  Segment and rationalize the vendor portfolio so that appropriate focus can be applied to the most strategically important vendor relationships/engagements.

  Maintain an inventory of vendor spend in collaboration with other areas, such as finance and the larger procurement organization by category (software, hardware, telecom, staff augmentation, services), cost centre and region.

  Serve as a point of escalation for vendor issues and disputes and drive those issues to resolution.

  Manage the communication process with vendors, including what information should be communicated, when and by whom, to ensure that appropriate leverage is preserved.

  Compliance & Performance management:

  Oversee adherence to process and procedures, alignment and categorisation of information.

  Oversee the measurement and reporting of vendor performance, compliance and timelines to achieve KBR requirements, including the development of evaluation tools based on stakeholder needs, and the creation of scorecards and dashboards that will accurately present this data.

  Ensure that the metrics used to evaluate compliance and performance are properly tied to business outcomes, with a clear focus on managing and mitigating risks.

  Manage delivery of performance feedback to vendor organizations and oversee action plans and corrective measures which may arise from the performance management process.

  Maintain vendor risk assessments and risk registers in cooperation with risk, privacy, business continuity and security teams.

  Track and report on vendor financial viability, business continuity, and corporate and regulatory compliance.

  Qualifications

  BS in related subject or equivalent experience.

  An understanding of typical supply chain processes.

  Experience supporting large user groups.

  Proven ability in performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis and methodology development and demonstrated leadership.

  Required Skills / Experience

  Proven experience in Supply Chain and/ or vendor management or a related field, and a good working knowledge of IT technologies is preferred.

  Proven experience in successfully leading a team in the management of vendors/third parties, including, but not limited to, policies, performance, vendor risk, relationships, contracts (including negotiations), and issue and dispute resolution.

  Experience driving change and facilitating collaboration and action in highly distributed organization.

  Experience with IT standards such as ISO, ITIL, and / or COBIT is desired, but not required.

  Skilled in translating and explaining complex data problems in easily understood, clear and concise terms, proven experiences using tools such as Power BI (etc) to clearly communicate information in a ‘stakeholder ready’ format.

  Forward thinking, receptive to innovative ideas and suggestions, flexible, and able to look beyond the current way of doing things.

  Ability to work across multiple initiatives adjusting to shifting priorities.

  Proactive and able to work under own initiative. Have the ability to learn quickly, work as part of a team or independently, have a logical approach to problem solving and have an awareness of current business practices and an interest in the way organizational processes work.

  Solid work ethic with attention to detail.

  Organized – ability to plan, prioritize and delegate where required.

  Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical information in appropriate detail,

  Desired skills/experience:

  Familiarity with relevant regulatory and industry requirements.

  Working knowledge of contract management and negotiation.

  Understanding of the vendor life cycle (sourcing, procurement, vendor management), and how internal roles interact and operate throughout the duration of vendor engagements.

  Exposure to and experience with ServiceNow (contract and asset modules) and DelTek CostPoint Supply Chain P2P, ERP and Contracts Management systems and activities (such as requisitions, purchase orders etc) in a project environment would be advantageous.

  Oracle and SQL Server Database technologies including a high proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, SAP & Costpoint business software applications, MS Dynamics and other statistical and mathematical software.

  Desired professional certifications to include any of the following:

  Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)

  Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)

  Certified Technology Procurement Executive (CTPE)

  Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA)

  Location/Travel Requirements:

  Full-time

  Agile working (home based)

  Some travel may be required.
