　　Experian is looking for an experienced engineer who will play a key role as an aide to the Infrastructure and Development teams. The person in this role will be responsible for implementing solutions to develop tools, standards and services that provide a global platform for services in the cloud. Experian has a long history of innovation in AI/ML across regions and business units. Recent inflections in areas such as Generative AI have increased the demand for faster evaluation and standardization of tools to provide an extensible platform to build proprietary solutions for further innovation. We are looking for an experienced contributor with practical background in supporting that effort alongside other major initiatives that include migration of longstanding big data systems into the cloud. The person in this role will work closely with other teams spanning multiple business units across the globe.

　　Responsibilities

　　Lead global teams to effectively handle design discussions with business, software developers and platform engineers.

　　Hands-On active collaboration as core member of a software engineering team

　　Translate business requirements and logical designs into working physical platform designs

　　Work collaboratively with all levels of technical and senior business management, including engineers and scientists across regions and business units

　　Involve in design discussions with business, software developers and platform engineers to deliver technical solutions.

　　Work with architecture/engineering and other teams to proactively improve the evolving environment based on specifications and business requirements.

　　Interface with infrastructure, network, security and operations teams to resolve problems with applications/Big Data systems.

　　Design and implement technical solutions for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation and storage

　　Design and implement analytical experiments, machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, and data mining to help solve business problems across global business units.

　　Contributor to productizing complex modeling/machine learning project, POCs and new product development, including design, coding and model deployment

　　Problem solving with scientific rigor that results in precise and reproducible outcomes

　　Exploration of novel and innovative technologies to enhance existing products and shape new products

　　Ability and willingness to document, summarize and communicate development results to stakeholders

　　Required

　　Typically requires a bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, overall 15+ years of IT and 10+ years of related experience in open platforms technologies.

　　Demonstration of innovative/novel technical contribution in previous roles

　　Proficiency in multiple programming or scripting languages

　　Experience in AWS Cloud Services

　　Experience in various Big data technologies such as Cassandra, DynamoDB, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop

　　Experience integrating with async messaging, logging, or queues, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS.

　　Experience with server-side development of APIs

　　Experience in SQL and NoSQL based data access and management 

　　Knowledgeable and experienced with software and system patterns and their application in prior work

　　Strong Problem Solving and creative thinking skills

　　Comfortable in a dynamic environment, with ability and willingness to adapt to various technologies

　　Effective oral and written communications

　　Ability to handle conflicting priorities

　　Experience with large data architectures including Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies

　　Experience with modern tools and architectures in Generative AI including OpenAI, Langchain and Hugging Face

　　Experience leading engineering teams to move AI/ML solutions into production.

　　Experience with cloud-based platforms for machine learning and data processing

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above.  Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education.  This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
