Description
This Desktop Support Technician role with Robert Half requires a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term temporary in nature and is based in the Rochester, New York, area.
Major responsibilities
Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Develop records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solution
Requirements - Experience with Maintain Logs
Solid understanding of Operating System
Good understanding of Deskside Support
Quality experience with digital
Strong familiarity with Technical Support
Proven knowledge of research
Comprehension of CRM
Wide ranging experience with travel
Customer service experience desired
Solid understanding of protocols
Previous experience working with Spanish Language
Experience with Proficiency
Prior experience with Specification
Documentation experience
Proficiency in Windows OS
Policy experience preferred
Earlier work involving Financial Notes
General familiarity with Troubleshoot
Answering Inbound Calls experience
Well-founded grasp of Workstation Support
Hands-on experience with video
Foundational knowledge in Interpersonal Skills
Expertise in Compensation Administration
Skills in Consumer Electronics
Practical knowledge of English Language
Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
