You will be part of our Construction ServicesPipeline Group working around natural gas distribution pipelines andfacilities. As a Utility Inspector/Locator, you will be enforcing strictadherence to client requirements as it relates to the safety andconstruction of natural gas pipelines. Responsibilities and expectationswill include: The ability to pass the Operator Qualification modules andother training requirements in a timely fashion. All aspects of the jobare to be performed with an emphasis on safety. To build and maintain aworking knowledge of federal, local and company compliances. Fieldobservation including verifying and documenting federal, local andcompany compliance. This will include: Completing inspection reportsdaily. All documentation is completed electronically on a companyprovided iPad including: Daily Reports, Pictures, Schedules, Time, andExpenses. Working with detailed plans and procedures, trackingquantities and material and verifying the accuracy of mapping andas-built documentation Inspection of installation of natural gaspipeline activities including: Excavation, installation, andbackfill/restoration Locate and flag utilities: Gas and electric Flagproposed electric and gas routes Navigate to multiple locations dailyTypical work hours range from 40 to 60 hours per week, 5-6 days perweek. What You Will Bring: Required: 1-3 years experienceperforming utility locates Experience locating gas, electric Ability toperform quality, accurate locates Fluency in Ticket Management SystemsComprehensive knowledge of local 811 processes/laws Excellent technical,communication, and organizational skills Additional requirements includea minimum of a high school diploma. Valid driver\'s license with a gooddriving record are required. Must have reliable transportation and theability to perform work at multiple sites A pre-employment drug test aswell as quarterly random drug testing is also required. Ability to liftup to 75 lbs. You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.Due to the physical nature of the work, you must be able to lift 50 lbs.75 lbs. periodically. You\'re required to work with your hands, andstoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
