Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Boiler and pressure vessel operations Knowledge of refrigeration, air and wastewater operations (5 years of experience) Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment Participate in clean-inspect-lubricate activities on machines regularly to detect signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections Generate and complete work orders assigned Accurately complete electronic/manual records of work performed Uphold visual management of the work area Follows and supports continuous improvement methodologies Strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental policies Strict adherence to all GMP and food safety policies Perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment as needed Completes all required training on time Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent State of New Jersey Blue Seal Boiler (Red Seal preferred) Minimum 6 months service as a Blue Seal State of NJ Blue Seal refrigeration (preferred) Wastewater N license preferred Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to weights, measures and record keeping Ability to read, speak, and write in English Required to regularly lift up to 50lbs Required to stand, walk, sit, climb and Flexibility to work overtime and additional shifts based on business needs Desired Qualities: Collaborator - able to work with other members of the processing team Adaptive - adjusts to changing priorities and conditions Motivated - self-starter with the ability to work in a team and independently to achieve team objectives Safety conscience - abide by all safety measures put in place at Innovation Foods Customer focused – understands the need for the highest standard of food quality in production Innovation Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes.
