  What You Will Achieve

  Working with Pfizer's dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.

  You will be a team member who is relied to have a good understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your decision making will help you prioritize workflows based on the available resources. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks, some of which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity and timing. You will contribute to the team's success by sharing your previously acquired knowledge.

  How You Will Achieve It

  Participate in multi-craft work activities as required.

  Assist with plant audits and be involved in safety committee to conduct safety inspection and audits.

  Track repair history of process support systems and equipment.

  Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities.

  Read and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams and engineering drawings.

  Conduct rounds in Good Manufacturing Practices (also see cGMP) and non-GMP buildings, troubleshoot GMP equipment and systems.

  Train peers and mechanics on equipment supported by the Instrument Shop.

  Ensure all maintenance activity is completed within designated timeframe filing proper documentation per Standard Operating Procedures as necessary for extensions.

  Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and protocols.

  Make recommendations regarding improved machine performance.

  Read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics.

  Manage own time and professional development, accountable for own results and prioritize own workflow.

  Qualifications

  Must-Have

  High School Diploma or GED

  2+ years of experience

  Perform maintenance, changeovers, adjustments and repair of production and process electrical, general facility, and utility equipment.

  Participate in other utilities work activities as required.

  Responsible for priority assessment and decision making as it relates to troubleshooting, diagnostics, and a proactive maintenance of systems and elecrical equipment in a cost-effective manner.

  Participate in safety training programs and utilize tools, equipment etc. in a safe manner as per plant safety procedures.

  Electrical control systems

  Electronic control systems

  Pneumatic control systems

  Calibration systems

  Electro-mechanical systems

  Computer Systems

  PLC's

  Read and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams and engineering drawings.

  Use electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, clamp-on current meters, meggers etc. in a safe manner.

  Make recommendations regarding improved machine performance.

  Follow all SOP and (Current) Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP) requirements.

  Provide customer training in the implementation of those systems in compliance with company standards and procedures, and government regulations (SOPs, GMPs, GLPs, PSM, etc.).

  Manage own time, professional development and accountable for own results.

  Prioritize own workflow and may lead and allocate work of others and assist in establishing their priorities.

  Must be able to work overtime as required including Holidays

  Must be available for On-Call work as needed

  Nice-to-Have

  Previous Biopharma experience

  Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration PSM, Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} policies and procedures

  PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

  The salary for this position ranges from $27.64 to $46.07 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
