About User Experience Designer Senior

  User Experience Designer – Senior Location: Plano, TX/ Richmond, VA/Hybrid Duration: 12 months with possible extension Description: At least 5 years of experience in user interface design Experience designing software or mobile applications, enterprise applications a bonus Experience creating responsive web layouts Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and writing code Familiarity with product development from inception to release Comfortable working with a variety of business partners and delivering outcomes Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch and/or Figma Familiarity with working in an established design system Experience creating components and interactive Wireframes, mockups and interactive Prototype using Figma Experience in HTML, React and CSS. Experience in Gravity Framework Experience collaborating using Git,ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence. Bachelor’s degree or military experience Advanced degree, trainings, or certifications in User Interface design Designing for cross-channel experiences Experience designing for cross channel experiences Experience managing a cross-functional team Experience in conducting Research using any of the tools listed: User survey, Personas hypothesis, Heuristic evaluation, Data analysis, Ethnographic Research, Competitive Analysis, A/B testing, Focus groups, Eye tracking, Usability testing. Key Responsibilities: Simplifying and translating complex business and software development workflows into easy-to-use experiences Collaborating with partners to create new interface and interactions patterns Creating consistent visual conventions across the application Working closely with product and customer success teams to gather and incorporate user feedback and feature requests into the interface Identifying and establishing design needs, requirements, and acceptance criteria Strategy & Planning: Collaborating with technology, product, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs - then translating them into transformative, intuitive, user friendly, and on-brand interfaces Leading in translating complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product interface Engaging in portfolio prioritization to help set the strategy for the team Managing through shifting priorities to provide clear direction and input on product definition Advocating for the customer through human centered design methodologies, including: discovery, ideation, sketch sessions, and user testing Creating and facilitating design led workshops to engage and build alignment across different partners and teams Championing prioritization of design centered product enhancements grounded in research and analysis Connecting with design community peers by learning, sharing, and teaching Discovery & Delivery: Supporting early product definition by working with partners to facilitate discovery sessions that uncover customer pain points and opportunities Demonstrating familiarity with design tools to deliver concepts and enable successful collaboration across teams Creating style guides, iconography, and infographics that can be leveraged by teams Drive end-to-end product design by: Working with researchers to understand customer needs and interpreting information into visual forms that are impactful and intuitive Framing problems, determining insights, and defining visual designs to serve customer needs Ideating, sketching, and delivering low to high fidelity prototypes Designing within existing - and creating new - standards to contribute to our internal design system, best practices, and guidelines Storytelling and presenting visual concepts to various stakeholders Creating high fidelity design assets for acceptance, development, and delivery to market in partnership with technology colleagues Additional Skills: Wireframes & mockups using Sketch, Figma, Justinmind, Balsamiq mockups, Style guides, Microsoft Office Suite, Litmus Visio. Research: User survey, Personas hypothesis, Heuristic evaluation, Data analysis, Ethnographic Research, Competitive Analysis, A/B testing, Focus groups, Eye tracking, Usability testing. Technical: HTML, CSS, SaaS, Bootstrap, WordPress. Prototyping & Collaboration: Axure, InVision, UXPin, Marvel and Keynote, Zeplin, Git,ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence. Call Notes: Team Info: Team Name is EP Team. Currently they have 6 team members and 2 more will be added this year. Product and designing engineering Team Its more working on Desktop Applications rather than Mobile applications. Role Info: Enterprise Applications Team Integrating Different Applications Like Aws And F5 and Other tools. Collaborating with Product owner, product managers, Project manager, developer, and external Users Utilities React, No SQL, Jira, confluence and google apps Perform Usability cases. Work on Designing UI/Interfaces and review how it'll be looking at user side. Top Skills: Strong experience in UI/UX Design User experience Or User Interface Exp (UX /UI Design) Minium Exp 5 needed. React /Gravity Design tools experience.
