How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance the overall user experience and drive engagement on Delta’s digital products, including delta.com and the Fly Delta mobile app. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, user researchers, UI designers and developers, to translate user needs and business goals into effective digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Implement user-centered design processes, including usability testing, to validate and iterate on design solutions.
• Collaborate with visual designers to create consistent and aesthetically pleasing designs that align with brand guidelines.
• Advocate for best UX practices and principles within the organization, educating and influencing stakeholders.
• Conduct user research and gather insights to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Minimum of 4 years of experience with creating experiences for web sites and/or mobile apps.
Proven experience as a UX Specialist, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX design skills and process.
Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
Solid understanding of web and mobile design guidelines, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups using tools such as Figma or similar software.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
Understanding of digital accessibility design and user experience best practices.
Previous retail and e-commerce design experience is highly desirable. Other relevant experience
