As a UX Design Lead in the DCE Finance team, you will focus on enhancing data interpretation methods for the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Finance group, aiding in decision-making processes on various topics. You will work with cloud-based data services, third-party applications, and task automation tools, providing support to various teams and officers. Your role will offer insights into the functioning of Finance in a large institution and involve working with complex internal employee-facing systems. Collaborating with User Experience leads, Product Owners, Data Owners, and Tech Teams, you will implement solutions incorporating emerging technologies such as cloud computing, robotics, large language models, low-code solutions, AI, and ChatGPT.
Job Responsibilities
Partnering with cross-functional team members to capture user flows and service blueprints, and visualize how they relate to the evolving Finance data ecosystem.
Working with software vendors to guide and configure customizations of their software.
Partnering with agility leads and product partners to ensure design team epics and tasks are correctly represented in Jira, Jira Align, and Kanban
Partnering with Product leads to co-moderate user interviews; facilitating follow-ups and deep dives when needed; overseeing and/or participating in the translation of findings into reports.
Facilitating surveys and product workshops; overseeing and/or participating in the translation of participant-created content into artifacts and reports
Directing and/or participating in the creation of concept sketches, mockups, and interactive concept prototypes
Leading and/or participating in presentations to client and other internal design teams
Representing Design in weekly and bi-weekly Finance progress and status calls
Providing timely and articulate progress updates to your internal manager and partners
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, HCI, Psychology, or related
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for storytelling
Minimum of 7 years experience leading the design of data products and process re-engineering
Minimum of 7 years with finding creative solutions for constraints posed by 3 rd party applications
Minimum of 7 years integrating the double-diamond Design approach into a fast-paced delivery environment, with team members who may have limited or no experience working with designers
Strong portfolio of delivered products that show creative problem solving for enterprise products; an ability to describe your end-to-end involvement.
Ability to switch between research and design modes, and between senior and junior-level tasks, when a situation requires it.
Ability to be proactive and improvise when business requirements are missing or incomplete.
Expert at PowerPoint, Excel, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite software
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience in Financial Services or similar large, heavily regulated industries a plus
Advanced level Axure experience a plus
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (AWS), data tools (Salesforce & Tableau), low-code/no-code technologies, AI, and ChatGPT a plus
Experience with Axure a plus
Experience designing for mobile and/or tablet.
Experience with video editing a plus
