　　Job Description

　　Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for an Analyst II in Arvada, CO.

　　The Analyst II prepares and analyzes environmental samples using both standardand complex testing according to scientific and EPA methodology in compliancewith Eurofins Environment Testing's Quality Assurance programs and SOP's.Primary focus is the operation of ICP-AES and ICP-MS instrumentation.Validates and reviews data for accuracy through Level I reviews. Uploadslaboratory data into LIMS system to generate data packages for delivery toclients. Must be knowledgeable of a broad range of laboratory testingequipment requiring the exercise of discretion and judgment in its operation.

　　Analyst II responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

　　Performs laboratory procedures requiring knowledge of scientific methods andtesting procedures including:

　　o Batching and prepping samples for analysis taking into account special andvaried client and QA requirements

　　o Making reagents for sample analysiso Aliquots extracted samples to maximize laboratory productivityo Preparing appropriate standards to ensure compliant datao Determining appropriate routine and complex analysis methods for a widevariety of organic and inorganic sampleso Operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments

　　Uploads data into LIMS system for review.

　　Performs Level I review of data produced to ensure accuracy.Maintains logbooks.Monitors refrigerator temperatures.Responsible for performing job functions within Eurofins EnvironmentTesting's EHS and QA standards.Maintains housekeeping standards for work area.Inventories and stocks laboratory supplies.Orders supplies.Washes and inventories glassware.Writes NCM's for projects with QA issues.Purges analyzed samples.Assists in training new analysts on laboratory procedures.Assists in other areas of laboratory when needed.Qualifications

　　BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience maysubstitute for degree.

　　Minimum 1 year of experience operating an ICP-AES/ICP-MS.Minimum 2 years' experience in routine and complex laboratory proceduresand instruments, preferably in a production environmentPrevious production-oriented work is a plusAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictionor sponsorshipAdditional Information

　　Compensation range: $23.00 - $27.00 USD per hour plus a shiftdifferential when working the 3PM to Midnight shift. Eurofins EnvironmentTesting (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes,the actual base compensation may vary base upon, but not limited to,relevant experience and skill set, base compensation of internal peers,business sector, and geographic location.

　　Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 3PM - Midnight, with overtime as needed.
