Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to our busy Urgent Care Department at our Midtown Clinic in Sacramento, CA.

Urgent Care Team of 4 physicians and 2 APPs

Staffed with RNs, occ. LVN, and MA's

Full-time opportunity - 165 shifts per year

Midtown Urgent Care offers many services to our patients and community. We evaluate, treat, and stabilize non-life-threatening conditions then refer the patient back to the treating physician.

Clinic Hours:

Monday-Friday: 7AM to 7 PM

Weekends and Holidays: 8 AM to 4 PM

Compensation Range: $138,000 - $170,000 / Year

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:

Conduct comprehensive health assessments.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Treatment Planning and Management:

Develop and implement patient care plans.

Prescribe medications and therapies.

Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.

Collaboration and Consultation:

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.

Coordinate patient care across various settings.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California

Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)

Completion of state mandated educational courses

Pay Range

$68.56 - $70.62
