　　At SoundHound, we are revolutionizing the food industry with our innovative Voice AI technology, enabling rapid and natural food ordering. We're seeking an experienced individual to join our engineering team, focused on enterprise and drive-thru hardware systems. You will ensure our Voice AI technology can work seamlessly with the endless combinations of hardware solutions in the restaurant space. We will look to you to leverage your experience and creativity to understand how to best manipulate audio streams and work directly with vendors on integrations.

　　This role requires onsite work at our Santa Clara, CA office (5400 Betsy Ross Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054) to be hands-on with our onsite hardware. The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $155,000. Our recruiting team will provide a more specific salary range based on years of relevant experience. In addition to salary, you will receive equity (RSUs), comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits.

　　In this role, you will: Develop electronics that interface between 3rd party radio headset equipment and a PC Combine and split analog and digital audio streams and interface to GPIO inputs/outputs Need to understand how to mitigate noise issues on analog audio channels Work with Python code that communicates with the electronics and cloud services Design/develop a packaged solution that will be installed at our customer locations We would love to hear from you if: You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of full-time work experience or a Master's degree with 3+ years of full-time work experience You have strong programming skills in Python You understand hardware used in the restaurant environment, especially for audio, and can engineer solutions for physical locations You have knowledge and experience implementing and customizing complex systems We’d be especially excited if you have "start-up" experience wearing multiple hats, bridging audio hardware and software systems in the restaurant space. Printed circuit board (PCB) design experience is a big plus!
