Maintains good working communications and is respectful to staff and patients.Maintains confidentiality of all patient care information.Demonstrates ability to communicate with physicians, departments, hospitals, the entire health care team,patientsand families to receive and relay appropriate information in a timely, accurate, and professional fashion in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Guidelines.Assembles discharge folders for patient records as directed by supervisor.Pulls and files records accurately and as directed.Assists with data entry into computer system.Assembles and maintains patient records, facilitating provision and maintenance of a complete and current record including EMR.Performs tasks to assure safety for patients, associates, and self.Accurately performs clerical functions such as set-up and safe use of computers, printer, fax machine, shredder, and intercom.Initiates Patient chart per protocol.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
