　　Department: NICU Neonatal Care

　　FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

　　Shift: Days

　　Pay: $18.30 - $23.40 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

　　Summary:

　　Performs departmental administrative/clerical duties.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Facilitates unit communication as needed.

　　Assists health care team in accurately maintaining patient medical records. Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges.

　　Assembles and maintains patient records and charts. Performs needed clerical tasks, including but not limited to, copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies.

　　Assists with keeping unit(s) and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.

　　Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

　　The pay range for this position is: $18.30 - $23.40 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
