POSITION SUMMARYProvide professional, high-level unarmed security services for the personnel, visitors, and property of various buildings within the Seattle, WA area. May also work in a Control Center.PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATIONRate of Pay: $31.50/hrPaid training for 1.5 weeks at full hourly rateRESPONSIBILITIESProvide security for various buildings by conducting perimeter security, internal security, threat monitoring , etc.Protect personnel and property in a professional mannerMeet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitorsEffectively and efficiently screen and process visitors as requiredIdentify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulationsConduct internal and external roving vehicle, bicycle, and/or foot patrolsTraffic control as necessaryDetect and respond to alarms and emergenciesSecure entrances and exits during emergenciesControl keys and lock combinationsCommunicate and remain accessible via two-way radio or company issued cellular phoneUnderstand and comply with all requirements, plans, policies, procedures.Observe and report all offenses/incidents including suspicious activityComplete all reports and paperwork as requiredProvide first aid, CPR, and assist during emergencies as necessary.Maintain mandated training requirements in accordance with state and company guidance.Ensure safety requirements compliance and safe work practices.Support safety programs participate in Quality and Process Improvement programs.Perform other duties as assigned.Regular, in-person attendance is required.QualificationsMust be prior Law Enforcement graduated from official Law Enforcement Academy OR be prior military with honorable discharge at a rank of E4 or above OR have 4 years of licensed armed security officer experience (Less Than Lethal acceptable), with demonstrated advanced training in security skill sets and proficiencies and a security vendor service record free of adverse actions OR (5) years unarmed experience, and (2) years armed experience, and/or (2) years honorable military service with honorable discharge.Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent from a U.S. Accredited School.
