Description

　　Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Sonographer, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in the utilization of high frequency sound waves for ultrasonic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with federal, state and regulatory standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

　　\Required qualifications:

　　Appropriate College courses in anatomy

　　National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire

　　National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

　　Experience in OB/GYN, abdomen and small parts (obtained either through work experience or clinical rotations)
