　　About the role

　　As a UI Designer within IT Solutions, you'll be involved in the full life-cycle of design for a portfolio of applications and services used across a diverse line of business, such as sales, marketing, customer success, human resources, recruiting, and products, to run our growing business. You’ll partner with product and engineering to deliver valuable solutions, as well as compelling user interfaces to both external and internal users, enabling them through phenomenal user experiences.

　　We’re looking for thinkers and innovators who are willing to challenge the status quo and are motivated by developing creative solutions to complex problems. In addition, great verbal communication and written documentation skills are valuable for this role in promoting ideas throughout the company.

　　What you'll get to do

　　Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams, to deliver outstanding user experiences and compelling visual designs for a diverse portfolio of internal and external applications

　　Perform user research to challenge established thinking and discover new ways of solving problems

　　Develop user workflow diagrams, storyboards, prototypes, and wireframes

　　Develop products that excite end-users and build brand awareness

　　Present designs and effectively communicate design rationale to diverse stakeholders

　　Partner with teams to define product roadmaps and prioritize requirements for releases

　　Create detailed design specifications and design standards for enterprise IT applications

　　Drive design in accord with principles of user-centered design

　　Ensure projects fulfill business requirements, goals, and delight end-users

　　Must-have Qualifications

　　5+ years of proven experience in user interface (UI) design

　　3+ years of experience designing for single-page web and mobile applications

　　Expertise in the capabilities of CSS and Javascript

　　Experience working on cross-browser, multi-device applications.

　　Expertise in data visualization and information architecture

　　Expertise in using industry-standard design tools, such as Figma, Adobe CC

　　Expertise crafting prototypes to communicate design concepts to users and project partners

　　Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

　　Experience in a fast-paced, iterative development environment

　　Nice-to-have Qualifications

　　Base Pay Range

　　Costa Rica

　　Base Pay: CRC 24,000,000.00 - 33,000,000.00 per year

　　Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
