Technicians provide diesel engine and full truck service for a wide range of on-highway trucks, including company fleets, owner centers, universities, etc.Join our service experts and be part of a team using the latest electronic tooling for diagnostics and repairs for truck service. Positions are rotating shifts.Duties & Responsibilities:Perform and interpret diagnostic tests on diesel engines and truck systemsInspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering & exhaustsAfter fully diagnosing issues, prepare work plans and consult customersRepair or replace vehicle engines, transmissions, braking systemsTest drive repaired vehicles to gauge performanceCollaborate with team members to ensure vehicle is operating safely & efficientlyMaintain records of parts inventory and serviced vehiclesQualifications & Skills:Experience servicing medium- and heavy-duty trucksPreference given to Cat, Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR trained techniciansAccreditation to perform Federal DOT and PA State inspections or able to obtain.Reliable and consistent attendance recordIn-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanismsSuperior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment, including mechanical and electric power toolsProficient in diesel engine diagnostic softwareExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective written and verbal communications skillsAs a Technician you are required to work in an industrial environment which includesexposure to significant environmental conditions.
