Job Title: Truck Mechanic

A small family-owned shop in Fremont, Nebraska, is looking for truck mechanics to join their team. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including engine diagnostics, brake systems, electrical systems, and more. The company is looking for mechanics to start right away, so Aerotek will provide a rapid interview process to get you started as soon as possible!

Skills:

Proven experience as a truck mechanic or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and customer service skills

Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus

Experience Level: Intermediate-Expert Level

Location: Fremont, Nebraska

Pay / Shift:

Pay: $25 - $40/hr depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

On-call rotation after the contract period

Small, family-owned shop

Vacation time (1 week for 1-2 years, 2 weeks for 3-10 years)
