  Essential Functions and Requirements:

  Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

  Drive and operate semi-vans and straight trucks as required.

  Reports to HT designated dispatchers, trips with sequential routes are scheduled with assistance from Customer Experience. Routes are to be scheduled in an effort to maximize the volume of drums picked up on single trip.

  Prior to driving transportation equipment, prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order.

  Completes manifests, company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed. Inspects all drums/containers on loads that they have the proper labels and markings.

  Maintains electronic hours of service for DOT compliance and state and federal regulations.

  Drives to the customer site to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facility for unloading and disposal.

  Acts as Company representative with courtesy towards customer.

  Loads freight and is capable of handling drums.

  Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  Experience: One year of Class A CDL driving experience required. Three years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred. Tanker/Hazmat required.

  Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator. Good interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. Ability to understand RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations and DOT Regulations. Class A CDL w/ hazmat endorsement. Must meet Heritage driving qualifications. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

  A post offer drug screen will be required.
