　　Immediate opening for a SOLO Part Time Class A CDL Hazmat Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Houston TX

　　$800 or more per week - And it gets better

　　Driver Positions Pay Weekly

　　Solo Miles Pay: $0.58 per Mile with 800 + Miles per Week

　　Solo Stops Pay: $23.73 per Stop with 10 - 15 Stops per Week

　　Per Diem Pay: $26.52 per Night with 1 - 2 Nights per Week

　　Will work with your schedule

　　Hours: Up to 30 hours per week

　　Paid Training

　　Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

　　Deliver SOLO To: TX, LA and MS

　　Tractor Type: Day Cab and Sleeper

　　Trailer Type: 48' - 53' Dry Van with Lift Gate

　　Equipment: Pallet Jack and Lift Gate

　　Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

　　Freight: Touch – Automotive Parts

　　Endorsements: Hazmat - At Time of Interview

　　No Automatic or Intrastate Only Restriction.

　　Route delivery experience preferred

　　Requirements

　　Minimum 21 years of age

　　Pass a Ryder Drug Test

　　Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

　　Pass a DOT physical

　　Pass a Ryder road test

　　Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

　　Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

　　9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

　　2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

　　5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

　　Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

　　Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

　　Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

　　Responsibilities

　　This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service

　　Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards

　　Maintaining accurate records and logs Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

　　Other tasks as assigned
