Need 9 full time, temporary, seasonal Tree Nursery Laborer to work in Otsego and Monticello, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 11/01/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day; 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Some weekend work may be required. Wage may be higher or lower if AEWR changes during work contract. Raise at employer's discretion. JOB DUTIES: Prune, plant, wrap tree trunks; de-weed tree rows; tie trees up for shipping; crimp wire baskets; staple burlap; tie tree twine around tree and back, to wire basket; shave/prune off roots of tree ball when harvested; lay and set up drip irrigation for trees; stake trees; pull tree stakes; water trees. Work performed requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. JOB REQUIREMENTS: No experience necessary, employer will train; able to lift 75 lbs.; pass physical strength evaluation; able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
