We are seeking a Finance Intern with a focus on Treasury Operations. This opportunity will allow you to gain first-hand experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, working with financial systems and tasks related to Treasury. You will be collaborating closely with our North America Treasury Operations, and Corporate Treasury teams, playing a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our processes.
The successful candidate will be involved in a various projects focused on improving controls and efficiency within the treasury space, and will get an excellent education of how treasury function in a large multinational functions.
What You will Do for Us
As a Finance intern, you will be an invaluable part of our team, offering support to our middle, and back office teams. Your experiences may include but are not limited to the following:
Support our back office team with trade confirmations (FX, Debt, Investments, etc.).
Work on improving our end-to-end check deposit process.
Help our middle office team to strengthen user access controls within our treasury systems.
Contribute to key treasury projects, interest income forecasting, and intercompany settlements.
Work closely with our external banking partners on operational matters.
Support with bank account management.
Partner with other team members on consolidating our banking platforms.
Collaborate with other international teams within Treasury operations, as necessary.
Contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives through project assignments.
Qualifications & Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related major with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2024.
Interest in treasury, financial markets, or banking.
Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
Strong collaboration skills with the capability to coordinate work processes across global stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders & third-party vendors.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience of SAP, Blackline or other financial software would be an advantage.
The capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment; effectively multitasking, sticking to tight deadlines, and exhibiting reliable follow-through.
