* This position is for a fulltime traveling assignment. Project locationsare across the United States supporting our EV/Battery projects and willreport to our Global Critical Facilities (TECH) vertical. Oversee and direct preconstruction, engineering and field installation ofall Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems.Reports to: Project Manager, Project ExecutiveEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Specifically relating to the mechanical and electrical systems (e.g. HVAC,Plumbing, Electrical, LowVoltage,Fire Sprinkler)Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants,subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives toensure alignment with client goals and expectations from initiation tocompletion of the project.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the contract documents(including Turner's contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes).Lead, supervise and develop Turner MEP staff, including providing input onor completing performance appraisals.Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP, andsubordinates.Manage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety,engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning,and close-out processes.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years' experience withprogressively more responsible exposure to design, cost, sequence,logistics and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems orequivalent combination of training and experience. Able to identify designfeatures that command cost premiums and recommend alternatives that delivercomparable or improved function. Demonstrated ability to present technicalmaterial. LEED accreditation preferred. Very strong oral and writtencommunication skills required. Strong computer skills and a familiarity withMicrosoft Office Suite of programs. Knowledge of project management andscheduling software desirable. Ability to implement leading edge technologiesto benefit the project.
