　　Role Overview:

　　Within our network of Master Builders manufacturing plants and distribution centers, this position is responsible to support bulk load planning software (Ortec Inventory Routing), Mobile load tracking (BizSpeed), tablet and delivery management (SOTI) and all necessary interfaces for Master Builders Solutions operations (EDIs). A deep understanding of the inner workings of these programs is crucial to success in this position.

　　As the Transportation Technology & Electronic Data Interchange Specialist you will need to exemplify a strong work ethic, great people skills and be proactive. You must also be an adaptive learner and an initiative-taker to deal with complex operating systems. The ability to work as a team will be crucial as you will need to work alongside multiple business lines.

　　Essential Skills

　　Manage admixture driver tablet system of all US and Canadian Bulk Terminals

　　Take calls, assist, and troubleshoot to support drivers (100+) in the network.

　　Create and maintain a device master list for all MBS Bulk Admix Carriers

　　Install system upgrades and maintain updates in training manual.

　　Publish and distribute a weekly tablet usage report.

　　Assist transportation team in various audits (trailers, tractors, and drivers)

　　Support non-conformance issues or verify deliveries for customers.

　　Support dispatchers, cyclical dependency issues and correct geocoding

　　Ortec Inventory Routing software support

　　Add/remove resources such as tractors, trailers, and drivers.

　　Manage driver & tractor assignments.

　　Support dispatchers, cyclical dependency issues and correct geocoding

　　BizSpeed system support

　　Generate reset keys for trip resets.

　　Roll-out and maintain delivery and on the way notifications.

　　Regularly update sales reps and new customers

　　Coordinate server updates and repair any issues or bugs.

　　Manage trailer inventories and device licenses.

　　Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

　　*Must have a complex and through understanding of how MBS interfaces operate

　　Must be able to troubleshoot, identify potential issues and bring them to a resolution to ensure the business can operate at maximum efficiency.Requirements

　　Must be proficient in electronic data interchange to support the systems and electronic tools.

　　Strong problem-solving ability, accuracy, diligence, and an elevated level of quality work are required for success.

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a diverse environment and maintain a professional, client-driven mindset even under adversity.

　　Must be willing to work M-F, 40-45 hours with flexibility, typical hours 8am – 5pm EST.

　　Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred, high school or equivalent required.
