Responsibilities:
• Testing first, second, and/or third-party titles, to ensure adherence for quality standards
• Adhoc/Exploratory Testing following specific guidelines
• Identify and report quality bugs
• May assist in checklists or test suites
• Adhere to highly secured policies and information management procedures
• Develop understanding of game components and apply effective test methods
Required Skills:
• Developing skills in at least one of the focused areas:
• Knowledge of English; ability to maintain context while identifying text errors.
• Ability to use game construct, knowledge of game genres, and testing skills to identify unique bugs.
• Familiarity with video game industry, consoles, and games.
• Ability to use PC on a continual basis, understanding of PC functionality.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, OneNote)
• Strong English communication skills.
• Basic understanding of video game testing purpose.
• Previous experience in the video game industry is even BETTER!
• Must be willing to support business needs as overtime may be available
Location: Redmond, WA.
Schedule: 9:00 am to 6:15pm (Monday-Thursday) 9:00 am to 3:30pm (Friday)
Contract: 11 months (mandatory two month break required once contract terms are met) Since this role is project based, contract length is dependent on business needs)
Must be in Washington State and within a commutable distance.
