Job Description
AECOM Panama Transportation Group is in an expansion process and needs the support of qualified and experienced PMs with experience in Transportation Projects. We currently need support to manage existing projects and pursue new opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
Builds strong relationships and interacts regularly with existing and new clients, teaming partners, industry groups and stakeholders.
Continue and strengthen client relationships within the Transportation Industry.
Identifies, pursues, and wins Transportation and infrastructure projects.
Coordinates and collaborates with other leaders within AECOM.
Serves as lead engineer, approves, and signs off on work on local and regional.
Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
Performs technical reviews of work developed by others.
Continuously interacts with clients assuring satisfaction with AECOM services and interacting with project delivery personnel to ensure any service issues are identified and addressed in a proactive manner.
Drives project performance and is responsible for the performance of a portfolio of projects.
Collaborates with peers/leaders in AECOM to leverage technical expertise, ensure client satisfaction and implement best practices.
Participates in development of technical proposals.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
12+ years of experience delivering transportation projects.
5+ years of experience as a project and client manager
Experience managing multi-disciplinary transportation projects.
Client relationships, business development, and pursuit capture experience
Experience managing a team or group.
Roadway, traffic, drainage, ports, railways, or structures design background
Must be able to thrive in a team environment.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to track and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
