　　AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Transport Logistics Engineer.

　　As a Transportation Logistics Engineer the primary focus of this job role will be on coordinating shipment with suppliers, logistics partners, and delivery of components from suppliers in India to AGCO worldwide. Role will involve collaborating with India 3PL logistics partners, AGCO 4 PL partners, cross-functional teams, managing suppliers, optimizing logistics operations, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of components. And this role need to be the backup of material planner, need to have the capability to follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and with supplier management experience.

　　Your Impact

　　Logistics:a. Plan and execute shipment related activities, including release of transportation orders, evaluate export packing requirements at supplier location (per standards), tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues or delays.

　　b. Lead and manage the transportation & customs activities to meet AGCO’s transportation budgets, maintain regulatory compliance with all country/local government agencies and comply with EHS regulations.

　　c. Design and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize costs and improve service levels.

　　d. Evaluate and select appropriate shipping modes, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery.

　　e. Collaborate with plant procurement teams, logistics teams and suppliers to determine component requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

　　Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:a. Monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions as necessary to address any issues or improve performance.

　　b. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains within the logistics and procurement functions.

　　c. Proficiency in using procurement and logistics software systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and TMS (Transportation Management System).

　　3.Additional responsibilities:

　　a. Management of customs-related work and making sure company procedures are in line with India Outbound Customs policy

　　b. Assist in set up of export process within the internal department and aligned with India Customs' regulations

　　c. Other jobs assigned by manager

　　Your Experience and Qualifications

　　Clearly analytical skills

　　Familiar with SAP MM module

　　Result driven attitude when solving related problems.

　　Forwarder management/ tranportation related experience is prefered

　　Familiar with import/export business

　　Good communication skills
