About Transportation Manager I

　　Manages daily transit operations within their geographical area. Recruits, selects, supervises and evaluates employees including disciplinary procedures Negotiates revenue contracts Monitors and manages county expense budgets including business evaluations -Trains new drivers in operating procedures -Meets with businesses and community leaders to develop new routes -Schedules drivers and vehicles -Develops, maintains, and reviews route manifests -Completes federal and state reports -Performs grant writing -Organizes, schedules, and moderates city/county advisory committees -Promotes services through public relations/marketing and assists with the community needs assessment -Performs dispatch and driver duties -Monitors program for federal and state rules/regulation compliance FT Transportation Manager I needed in Grand Rapids, MN.
