Position Summary Under the direction of theVersiti Supervisor Transportation, executes standard processes andpolicies for transportation courier services including blood producthospital deliveries and returns, donor center and mobile blood pick-ups,supply deliveries, distribution site transfers, Diagnostic Lab samplepick-ups, Pharmacy deliveries, and Donor Testing Lab tube deliveries, ina safe and timely fashion while meeting customer expectations andcomplying with applicable regulatory standards. ResponsibilitiesExecutes Versiti policies and procedures for internal blood producthospital deliveries and returns, donor center pick-ups, equipment,interoffice mail, supply deliveries, distribution site transfers,Diagnostic Lab sample pick-ups, Pharmacy deliveries, Donor Testing Labtube deliveries Ensures the safety, purity, potency and efficacy ofproducts by following Versiti procedures in handling of all blood andblood products Communicates any fleet maintenance needs, completespre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuels vehicles, and general vehicleupkeep Organize non-scheduled STAT deliveries and special requests tomaintain efficiency and meet customer requirements Practices defensivedriving techniques, complete vehicle driving and safety training course(online or in person) Executes Versiti customer service strategiesdesigned to meet and/or exceed customer requirements Completes allVersiti required training on time Adheres to the laboratory safetypolicies as outlined in...
