JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3rd Shift Transport Trim - 1120374800DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Overview The Transport Trim preparesproduct and cutting to meet customer specifications in compliance withcompany policy related to GMP\'s and Safety. Job Responsibilities *Maintain area, equipment, and personal sanitation. * Debox/unwrapcheese from original packaging. * Weigh cheese when applicable. *Inspect/clean cheese. * Maintain accurate production records. *Operate cutters and lifting equipment. * Moves cheese from line toline. * Pack and seal trim. * Tag trim. * Organize trim barrels ontoa pallet. * Scan pallets to a location. * Organize/sort/track rawpacking materials. * Productive use of down time. * Review orderspecifications to perform quality checks against customer orders. *Communicate to line personnel on order specifications and qualityissues. * Enter data on production reports. * Communicate to linepersonnel on safety issues. * Perform handheld functions using ahandheld scanner. * Operate a manual pallet truck. * All GLC employeesare expected to perform any assignment or job task according to thestated safety policies and procedures. * All GLC employees are expectedto produce and promote our products and services in a manner thatexceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumersby adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Proceduresoutlined in our Safe Quality Food Program. * Other responsibilities asassigned by the manager. Working Conditions * Ability to constantlystand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull withL/R hands. * Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist,waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying. * Hair nets, earplugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required. * Productweight: up to 50 lbs. * Repetitive work in a fast-paced productionenvironment with average temperature of 50-60 degrees F. * Use of motorskills to safely drive tow motors or other motorized vehicles in tightquarters.
