Position Responsibilities:
Clean, sandblast and/or paint product and parts
Disassemble transmissions
Pack, label and palletize
Preassembles product.
Assembles transmission or valve body.
Inspects clean parts.
Performs related tasks as assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience: High School Diploma or GEDrequired.
Previous mechanical, assembly or automotive experience
Knowledge of hand or pneumatic tools
Basic PC skills (on/off, read screen, toggle, use mouse, checkinventory)
Must be able to read work instructions in English.
Preferred Skills and experience:
Previous lean manufacturing experience helpful.
Forklift or pallet jack experience
Reporting to Position: Reports to Team Leader, Passenger Car. Has nodirect reports.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the associateis required to stand for extended periods of time; 60 minutescontinuously up to 6 hours per 10 hour day, walk up to 2 miles per day,handle or feel objects and/or tools; operate power tools; reach withhands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; bend, verballycommunicate; and hear safety indicators. The associate must frequentlyan repetitively lift and /or move up to 40 pounds. Specific visionabilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision,peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the associateis exposed to a remanufacturing floor atmosphere with some officeexposure.
