Mammoth Disposal , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Transfer Station Attendant to work out of our Transfer Station located in Mammoth Lakes, CA !

　　The schedule is subject to change based in business needs, but will most likely be Monday - Friday working 8 to 10 hour shifts. The pay range for this job category is $22 - $25/hour.

　　This is a great opportunity for full time, year round work! We offer family benefits, 401k with a match and paid vacation.

　　In this position you will be working very independently. You will be interacting with the public, moving roll-offs, handling labor-intensive tasks on-site. Must have excellent customer service, as well as the ability to stand and do physically demanding work throughout an 8 hour shift.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry to the center

　　Ensuring that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

　　Ensuring that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material

　　Cleaning, sweeping and pressure washing equipment

　　Providing general upkeep of theScaleHouse

　　Heavy lifting of equipment and material

　　Learn to operateforkliftand bobcat

　　Requirements:

　　Customer service skillsand a great attitude

　　High School Diploma or equivalent

　　Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour shift

　　Ability to lift up to 50lbs pounds

　　Ability to work in all weather conditions
