Job summary
As the Transaction Supervisor in Processing, you be responsible for the daily workflow through the life cycle of Corporate Income products. You will manage and control the daily workflow of the Asset Services team.
Please note* As a leader in this business, you will be required to work Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays as needed. This is a 3rd shift position.
Responsibilities
Ability to maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is accomplished through effective training and succession planning
Ensuring all daily controls and processes are completed and signed off, including client service inquiry resolution, cash and stock break, event management, as well as all key metrics are produced as required
Responsible for providing direction, goals and leadership to the team
Able to provide effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organization
Provide key information to the Leadership team as to the accomplishments and opportunities from your daily shift
Conduct ongoing review of content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with introduction of new policies and ongoing risk management activities
Contribute to the strategic development of asset servicing products
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Operational subject matter expertise in Reconciliation, Settlements, Trade Support, Asset Servicing, Risk and Control, and Custody
Strong people management skills, ability to lead and motivate managers and staff
Strong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processes
Strong risk and control awareness, including ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines
Confident communication skills in all mediums to both internal, external clients and Leadership
Strategic thinking; Able to review and implement process improvements
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
Ability to organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Possess a strong understanding of production environments
Make decisions quickly that are consistent with policies to ensure positive resolution
