POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for developing, coordinating and presenting training for the Corporate location and all plant locations, as appropriate and organizational leadership/management development support.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSManage the corporate training element within the prescribed MOS measurables and budget allowancesFacilitate the development of annual training plans with the corporate managersFacilitate the securing of outside funding for corporate and plant training initiativesEstablish and maintain strategic relationships with outside training providersDevelop and present professional development and manufacturing related training and curriculumAssist in the coordination of outside vendor training eventsPlan and coordinate training in new technologiesDevelop and implement employee enrichment programsConduct ongoing assessments of plant training activitiesProvide training, direction and support to the Corporate Training Specialist positionParticipate in the onboarding process of corporate office location employeesProvide direction on succession planning including assessments, candidate criteria and development planningAssist with organizational development activities, i.e., performance management and Cl initiativesPerform other essential functions as assignedJOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSFour year degree in Business, Human Resources or Education is required; Masters degree preferredFive years practical experience in Training/ManufacturingTraining and presentation experience necessarySPECIAL SKILLSComputer literateExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skillsWORKING CONDITIONSNormal office environmentNormal shop environment, which includes travel to plant sites; use of personal protection equipment; hazards and conditions typically associated with a manufacturing environment.
