Salary Range:$63,000.00 To 80,000.00 Annually
Ultium Cells is a joint venture lithium-Ion automotive battery cell manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solutions and General Motors. This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest battery cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.3 Billion. It will be among the largest battery cell manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.
The Ultium cell partners include LG Energy Solutions; the world's largest manufacturer of automotive battery cells in the world and General Motors a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around.
Job Summary:
This position designs, implements, and trains a wide variety of professional and educational content to our internal production and professional positions, including our leadership.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement training programsConceptualize training materials based on data and researchCreate training materialsDevelop assessments that determine the extent to which learning objectives were metPlan and schedule training sessionsConduct workshops, individual training sessions, etc.Track and keep employee attendance and training recordsReview employee training performance and learningConsult with other trainers, managers, and leadershipContact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology and contentTest and review created materialsConduct training through new materialsCoordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipmentOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related fieldFive plus (5+) years' previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related positionProficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional softwarePhenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skillsStrong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projectsExcellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of managementAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAble to analyze problems and strategize for better solutionsCertification from talent and training associations a plusFluency in the Korean language is helpful, but not requiredExperience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platformsOrganized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedulesTotal Rewards Information:
