  Division: L’Oreal Operations

  Reports To: Manager – Training

  What You Will Do:

  The Training Co-Op is responsible for developing technical on the job (OTJ) training manuals for equipment. The Training Co-Op must work directly with production employees to document all aspects of running and troubleshooting the equipment. Employees should be able to use the training manual as a stand-alone document to support their technical needs while running the equipment.

  What We Are Looking For:

  Required Qualifications:

  High School graduate

  Currently pursuing an Engineering degree

  Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  Video creation skills or willingness to learn

  Strong people interaction skills

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  Observe all aspects of running a piece of equipment

  Document key technical instructions for operating equipment in an organized manner including tables, pictures, and videos as needed

  Work with production employees to resolve top faults or equipment errors

  Document key troubleshooting instructions of most frequent faults or errors unable to resolve

  Ensure SHEQ and Performance standards are maintained through the training

  Partner with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop sustainable training

  Coordinate and schedule training as needed

  Ensure tracking and documentation control of training records, procedures, and forms

  Perform generalist activities: Some examples include- employee events, investigations, etc.

  Ability to work flexible to shift schedule occasionally as needed

  Working Conditions

  Machinery may produce noise levels that exceed OSHA’s actions level: employees are provided with and are required to wear personal hearing protection devices in these areas.

  Raw materials and cleaning products may produce potential respiratory hazards; employees are provided with and may/must wear particulate respirators or other respirators when appropriate.

  Moving machinery, such as forklifts: employees required to operate a forklift must successfully complete forklift operator training.

  All operators and mechanics are provided with and required to wear safety glasses, hair nets, uniform smocks, steel-toed shoes and gloves (depending on specific department requirements.).

  All employees are properly trained in use of adjunct lifting/moving equipment and proper body mechanics.

  Depending on cleaning and sanitization procedure, operators and mechanics will be trained and provided with appropriate personal equipment (i.e., respirator, dust mask, gloves, face shield and/or apron).
