Assisting with theemployers farming operation includes lifting agricultural tools andequipment that weigh up to the lifting requirement listed at B.4.e.Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on theirSabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after darkand possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered mayvary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variablesthat impact the farms operation. (as applicable and per the jobdescription) Employer may pay workers more depending on how many yearsof experience they have obtained by working for the employer or otherfactors such as job performance, skill, punctuality. Housing: 1 Unit, Total Occupancy: 3, Living & laundry facilitiesavailable. Housing will be clean and in compliance with OSHA HousingStandards at 29 CFR 1910.142 when occupied. Workers will be responsiblefor maintaining housing in a neat, clean manner. Housing and utilitiesare provided at no cost to workers who are unable to return to theirplace of residence the same day. Workers eligible for and offeredemployer-provided housing may choose not to occupy the employer providedhousing. Workers eligible for employer provided housing may elect toobtain their own housing at workers expense. Workers eligible foremployer-provided housing who elect to decline the employer
provided housing and instead obtain their own housing may withdraw suchelection at any time during the period of employment, and upon doing sowill be provided housing by the employer as set forth in the ClearanceOrder or as amended and approved by DOL. The Company assumes noresponsibility whatsoever for housing arranged by workers on their own.The employer will not provide a housing allowance or assistance toworkers eligible for employer-provided housing who elect to obtain theirown housing.
Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchenfacilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration,space
for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, anddishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare thei own meals.Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water underpressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assureworkers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
Transportation: The employer shall provide transportation betweenhousing and worksite and for personal errands (e.g., groceries, bankingservices) in the form of pickup, car, van, self propelled farm machine(ex. tractor, combine, sprayer, harvester, truck), or other common meanscontrolled/operated by the employer between the place where the employerhas provided housing to
the actual work site and return at the end of the workday. Given thenature of farming operations, the employers vehicles, number ofvehicles, and seating capacities in use change regularly, but ingeneral, will always be 1 or more and will consist of vehicles such aspickups, cars, vans, or farm machinery. Pickups, cars, and vans seat upto 6 individuals, trucks seat up to 3 individuals, and farm machineryseats no more than 2 individuals. If the employer\'s total number ofworkers exceeds the total capacity of its vehicles, workers will bedriven between the housing and worksite and for personal errands instaggered groups. In instances where the employer has not provided theworker his or her own means (such as one of the prior mentioned modes)or in the case that the worker does not possess the ability to operate amotor vehicle on public roadways, the employer provided pick up timewill be at the scheduled begin workt
