JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Due to our continued growth, we arelooking to add a 3rd shift trainer to our assembly team! In this role,you will teach, coach and mentor new associates to the team on J.W.Speaker processes. In addition, you will also work with existingassociates on new product and process roll-outs, ensuring all know howto build our lights safely and successfully, with a focus on quality!Patience is a must with this position, as well as the ability to workwith folks at all different levels of learning! Duties will be varied, but will consist ofthe following: 1st Priority - Daily Execution (Key Tasks) Maintain safeand clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, andregulations Train associates in proper preparation of work and toassemble components following the Assembly Zone standardized work andprocedures Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit,fastening parts and subassemblies Keep equipment operational bycompleting preventive maintenance requirements; followingmanufacturer\'s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; follow helpchain for repairs Follow TQC\'s and verifies Encourage collaboration andgain trust/support of peers to drive action to improve group performanceTailor training for associates based on understanding of basic adultlearning principles Maintain Zone Matrices for accuracy and ISOcompliance 2nd Priority - Skill Development (Key Tasks) Work with LineLeader and Group Leader to document individual skills via Skills Matrixprocess Develop targeted skills in the 7 core competencies within theAssembly Zone Skills Matrix Assist in demonstrating skills to newassociates Coach associates with non-conforming parts & assist in thecalibration of quality standards to customer expectations Assist in thedevelopment of others Train all new associates on J.W.
