　　Kalmar Strategy Function is looking for a trainee, Strategy and Business Development to Support Kalmar strategy team in various day to day strategy roll-out and follow-up duties and forward looking analysis.

　　Kalmar strategy team is the central point of contact and responsible for strategy processes, development and ensuring execution. Team works closely with business divisions and other Kalmar functions. As part of strategy team, you will help Kalmar to efficiently execute and follow-up the selected strategy path.

　　The position is located in Helsinki or Tampere, Finland. The trainee period lasts from May to August, but exact duration can be agreed with some degree of flexibility. Partial remote working after the induction period is possible.

　　Main tasks and responsibilities

　　Preparing and combining strategy materials for strategy team to be used by the management

　　Running different numerical analysis supporting Kalmar strategy planning

　　Achieving and combining information from different sources for different business development purposes

　　Supporting Kalmar Divisions and functions in the strategy follow-up processes

　　Documenting and creating guidelines and instructions needed in the strategy follow-up processeslist the other relevant key tasks / responsibilities.

　　What you’ll need to succeed

　　Ideally you have:

　　University studies or degree in strategy, knowledge management, industrial engineering management or similar

　　+3 year studies in relevant field

　　Proficiency in English (must) and other languages considered an advantage

　　Good command of Excel/Google Sheets & Powerpoint/Google Slides, Strong command of data analytics skills in Excel/Google Sheets considered a benefit

　　Good communication and presentation skills

　　Eagerness to learn and work in cross-functional multi-cultural environment

　　Studies/Extracurricular activities around Lean methodology considered a benefit

　　Knowledge of SAP/Salesforce/HFM systems considered to be a benefit.
