Description We are looking to hire a Software Developer in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, based in Houston, Texas. This role involves working on a Tempest Migration Project to CXL 8, integrating Trading Systems, and providing maintenance and support for existing ETRM Applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Work on the Tempest Migration Project to CXL 8 to increase bandwidth on the team

• Handle integration of Trading Systems, focusing on non-Greenfield Development

• Provide maintenance and support for existing ETRM Applications

• Develop and implement software solutions in the Energy/Natural Resources industry

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain software

• Utilize ETRM skills to enhance system performance and functionality

• Conduct reporting activities using tools such as Tableau or Power BI

• Participate in Capital Projects related to the enhancement of ETRM Applications

• Address software issues and ensure optimal system performance

• Maintain documentation of software development and subsequent revisions. Requirements • Proven experience as a Software Developer in the Energy/Natural Resources industry.

• Proficiency in ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) systems.

• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.

• Solid knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git).

• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate).

• Ability to learn new languages and technologies.

• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude coupled with good communication skills.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market.

• Experience with a variety of programming languages and development tools.

• Familiarity with network diagnostics and network analytics tools.

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

• Strong unit test and debugging skills.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

• Familiarity with continuous integration.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
