POSITION SNAPSHOT
On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to:
Distribution network development • Develop and manage distribution in the trade (on & offline) in line with market targets and defined distribution strategy. Accountable and Responsible to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets/KPIs.
Select partners and close deals with on-& offline (trade and machine) partners • Contribute to and ensure the execution of the B2C commercial partnership strategy (in line with strategic priorities)• Assess commercial and brand suitability of prospect partners• Manage and develop partnership proposals• Lead negotiations of partnership arrangements• Close deals with partners (current and new, on-and offline, trade and machine)
Build and manage relationships • Ensure premium positioning of Nespresso's brand, promotion and commercial development at strategic partners• Build and maintain relationships with all partners (current and new, on-and offline, trade and machine)• Evaluate partnership effectiveness regularly, making use of Sales Excellence and Data & Insights (Marketing) support• Ensure that commercial partnerships remain aligned with global strategic priorities
Department and Management Responsibilities • As part of the local Management Team, drive the overall organization's business results by making tactical and strategic decisions and by building the organization in a sustainable way• Drive innovative solutions relevant for Nespresso by following the latest developments in the field and stay up-to-date on competitors• Act as a spokesperson within the organization and in the Management Team and be the end-responsible for the department and the department's results• Translate the global strategy to local market needs and define initiatives to achieve business results• Ensure that optimal investments and decisions are made in the OP process for both CAPEX and OPEX, in collaboration with Finance• "Lead leaders" by promoting leadership skills• Manage the P&L/budget within the department• Align with HQ stakeholder and other markets' counterparts on strategy, priorities and best practices• Improve and implement efficient ways of working in line with the operational plan and company guidelines
